Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Up to ten percent inaccurate! Comment: I started a new lifestyle and wanted a scale to monitor my progress. After a weigh in at the doctor's where I was 221, I was pretty surprised to read my scale reading 240 two days later. My wife stepped on it and told me 'I haven't weighed that much since I was pregnant!'. It is essentially useless. Customer Rating: Summary: Not happy -- inaccurate Comment: My family likes to weigh ourselves...a lot, probably more than the typical family. So when our old scale broke (it was glass and literally shattered) we opted for the Biggest Loser scale. It was a good price and we like the show. I've weighed myself everyday this week, at the same time each day, and received a reading range of 8 lbs! The gym scale reading I got yesterday was 135 lbs. But the biggest looser scale had me at 137, 132, 135, 132, 136, 133, and 139 this week. I realize that weight fluctuates day to day but by a pound or two, not 8. If the scales on the show are this nuts I'm not sure the right people are getting kicked off. I wouldn't recommend buying this one.
